In the late nineties, Jose Azulay and his fellow designers began to build a brand in Spain. It was formed from a different point of view, a different eye, and UNOde50 was born. Creating a jewelry style that was different from any other brand, yet still embraced tradition, the contemporary, and quality. The goal they had was, and still is, to create pieces that are select, unique and evoke personality, much like the women who wear them.
In the beginning, the artist created 50 units of each design, hence “UNOde50″. Over time, the brand increased production but retained its name as a reminder of their founding principles of quality and exclusivity of each necklace, bracelet, earring and ring design.
One of the many unique qualities of UNOde50 is that all the jewelry is nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Once UNOde50 pieces have been crafted, they are silver plated with 15 microns of silver. The jewelry then undergoes exhaustive quality control, culminating in the assembly of items that combine metal with leather, handmade resins, Murano glass, Swarovski crystal, shell pearls, and cotton threads. A creation that is exclusive, unique, bold, and iconic.
